Description
A snow plow or angle blade rental pushes snow out to the side as the loader travels. This approach suits a longer lane where windrowing is preferable to carrying every bucketful away.
Plan where the snow will accumulate and measure the narrowest point on the route.
Windrowing leaves a ridge along the side of the route. If a narrow lot has no room for that ridge, moving snow in a bucket to a stockpile may be a more useful arrangement.
For a driveway entrance, note where vehicles have to turn after the plow passes. That space may be a poor place to leave the windrow even if it is convenient for the loader.
