Description
A concrete finishing broom textures a new slab while the surface can still take an impression. Choose a fine or medium texture to suit the walkway or pad.
If the work meets existing concrete, bring a photo of the finish you want to match.
A walkway extension may need to pick up the direction and depth of texture on an older slab. A close photo of the old surface often gives a clearer reference than terms such as “rough” or “smooth.”
Concrete finishing broom for a consistent texture
For a new sidewalk with several panels, decide which side you can work from throughout the pour. Walls, planting beds and steps can interrupt an otherwise straight finishing pass.
