Description
A frost blanket rental helps a concrete pour retain heat in cold weather. Measure the slab length, width and exposed edges.
Allow for the overlap between blankets when deciding how many to reserve.
A temperature-sensitive pour may have its own curing plan. Use the project’s requirements for timing and coverage; blanket dimensions help lay out the material, but do not by themselves establish how long the concrete needs protection.
Calculate coverage from the shape of the pour, including corners or separated pads. Two slabs with the same total area can need a different combination of blankets.
